| 2002-10-28 "Take my love and take it down..." Good weekend. i went down to B-ton on friday night. It was good to see my girl. We ate dinner at the Runcible Spoon. And got to bed early. Saturday we drove over to collins for "Lesbopalooza". I was supposed to go on at 1:45, but I didn't go on until about 2:15. Kara and Rebecca showed up with their new puppy, awww it's SO cute. But Kara had another gig that night nd she wanted to get back to take a nap before that. So she didn't stay and here me play. That and the puppy was scared of the crappy punk band that went on before me. Over all I felt really good about the performance. I saw a lot of people I knew. And it also seemed like I got a good response from the audience. And of course Em was the proud girlfriend, it was so cute. We left lesbo early so that I could get up to Indy in time to change for my choir concert. Choir concert went well. It was family weekend, so we had our fall choral review. All of the choirs performed. Em and I went back home to change for Danielle's party. We left about 11:00 for the party. The party was decent. i didn't know a whole lot of people there. So Em and I didn't stay terribly long. Sunday morning we picked Patrick up and went to church. Our duet went VERY well if I do say so myself. We have a great blend. We both agreed we should do duets more in the future. We all went out to lunch at the Abbey. It was really weird we saw the head of the Music department there. He was eating lunch with an alum. We dropped patrick off after lunch and went back home and napped for 4 hrs. I love sleeping next to her. I always sleep better. We started talking more about moving in together. It's kind of a scary thing. I mean I am excited about it, but at the same time a little scared. Oh, well, we have plenty of time before we have to decide on any of this. Well, I'm off to take a nap before I have to teach. Have a lovely afternoon my lovelies, MWAH! |
