| 2003-03-10 Oh my...... wow, it's been a long time. SOOOO much has happened. Emily and I moved into our apartment in January. It sucks to move in snow. Not a good idea. We love our apartment. We brought back Em's cat Merlin from her mom's house. Em was pretty sick for a while there with her hypoglycemia. She underwent a test at the hospital. She had to fast and the tst would end when either her bloodsugar dropped below 40 or 72 hours had passed. Well, at 49 hours of fasting she couldn't take it anymore and frankly neither could I. So this shows that she doesn't have a tumor on her pancrease ad that her hypoblycemia is reactive. Em's been working at a coffeeshop for about 2 months now. She's really enjoying it. I take her to work in the morning and then go to class and pick her up after my classes. I have a few gis coming up. I'm pretty excited about them. I've managed to squeeze out a few new songs. I went to New Jersey lat week. My grandfather passed away. He had fallen and broken his hip. Then things just went downhill from there. It was good to see some of my cousins I hadn't seen in years, but could have been during better circumstances. I'm still prett upset about grandpa, but I know he missed grandma terribly. So, it is nice to know that at least he's with her. I'm now a core orginizer for our feminist group on campus. Right now were planning a faces of feminism panel and take back the night. BUSY! Emily and I are officialy engaged. We are having our ceremony May 8, 2004. That will be our 2 year anniversary also. We've already started looking at cabins in brown county where we are going to have the ceremony. My fried Greg is going to perform the Ceremony. Kara and Shane are going to do the music. Well, I'm off to get ready for guitar lessons. Later my lovelies! |
